About Charlotte
I am a violinist, recently graduated with a Masters Degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and I want to share my love of music with others. During my time at RBC, I completed the Teaching Matters module, which involved a teaching placement with the Music Service in two different schools. I also took part in the Stringcredibles' Apprentices Scheme, delivered workshops in care homes and schools and participated in the RBC's Learning and Participation Ensemble. Whilst studying, I taught three beginner violinists for a term and also taught an infant beginner privately. I have had many opportunities to perform over the years, and was selected for the CBSO Orchestral Training Scheme, played in the St. Endellion Easter Festival Orchestra and led various large ensembles at RBC. Some of my freelance work includes wedding work, playing for choral societies and a Symphonic Ibiza performance. I am grateful to have won the Harrison-Frank Family Foundation Award as well as an entrance scholarship to the RBC, and I was a joint-winner of the John Ireland Prize.

I graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Performance. My lessons are typically 30 minutes to an hour, and I teach all ages and levels. During my Masters Degree, I undertook a teaching module, which involved a placement with the Birmingham Music Service and I also delivered music workshops in care homes and schools. I have experience in teaching both privately and in schools.
