About Helena
I have recently graduated from Durham University with a Masters in International Relations, where I also did my BSc in Natural Sciences specialising in Economics and Psychology. During my masters I was also a resident tutor at Durham School. I have tutored Economics and whilst at school I tutored three sciences. I am currently a full time rower and coach in west London, so am also able to give advice about rowing at university.

My experience of tutoring has taught me that each student learns differently and the approach to teaching therefore needs to be different. I also believe that the way you approach learning if it for exams needs to be more angled towards the exam boards requriements, therefore exam technique is very important as well learning about the subject as a whole. Applying this technique to my own A-levels lead me to get 100% in some Biology and Economics exams. As a tutor I like to think of myself as understanding and encouraging.
