About Mim
I am a 31 year old female who has worked as and English, arts and humanities tutor over the past 5 years.
I am a kind and patient person who understands that we are all unique and have different needs. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with new people and finding creative ways to achieve goals.
In my spare time I enjoy being out in nature and doing yoga.

Typical lesson time is 1 hour. I take primary and high school students for English and HSC essay prep.
In that period, I will use the student’s school work as a springboard to further their understanding of the required content. That being said, I contribute my own resources to enhance the learning process.
The first thing I have my students complete is a short writing piece (level appropriate) about themselves so that I have an understanding of not only their writing skills but also a better sense of who they are as a person. This is something important to me for building a connection with the person I am tutoring.
I have a Masters of Teaching from UNSW.
