About Allie
I am a 25-year-old Masters Level Social Worker. I am currently in transition from Landrum, South Carolina to Greenville, South Carolina and am happy to serve in or around either of these areas. I have always loved kids, and my love for teaching kids grew during my social work education and work as a Behavior Technician.
Fun facts: I lived in Uganda for 9 months and I went skydiving with my grandmother for her 80th birthday! I love reading, being outside, painting, watching jeopardy, NYT games, and laughing. I am a naturally curious person and I love learning!

- I worked in a clinic doing one-on-one behavior therapy for children while earning my masters degree in social work. This equipped me with knowledge of theoretical approaches that are most effective for learning, specifically for children with learning differences, Autism, and other behavioral challenges.
- With this being said, every child is different. I do not have a one-size-fits-all approach. A large part of my first few sessions will be building trust with your child and determining what motivates them to learn.
- I do my best to make learning a fun experience, and will incorporate techniques that match your child's specific learning style (e.g. incorporating art, candy, video clips, etc.)
