About Yubin
As a tutor, I bring a strong academic and professional background in education, developmental psychology, and language development. I graduated from New York University and am currently pursuing graduate studies at Columbia University in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (Bilingual Program), with a focus on speech and language development.

As a tutor, I focus on creating a personalized and supportive learning environment that is tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. I use a bilingual, student-centered approach that emphasizes true understanding rather than memorization, helping students build confidence and long-term academic independence.
A typical lesson with me begins with a brief review of previous material to reinforce understanding, followed by clear instruction of new concepts.
