About Alison
I am a Master’s student in Psychology and a Philosophy graduate from the University of Nottingham, with A-levels in Sociology and Geography. I have a genuine passion for the humanities and social sciences, and I love sharing my knowledge with others. I teach because I find it truly rewarding to see students grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and discover new interests. My lessons are not about being perfect – they are about trying your best, making steady progress, and enjoying the learning journey. As a tutor, I am friendly, empathetic, and a good listener. I also believe learning works best when it’s relaxed and enjoyable, so I’m happy to include small breaks or a little chit-chat during lessons to help us bond.
