About Dhriti
Although I'm doing a STEM degree, art has always been a personal passion and creative outlet for me. Through teaching, I aim to develop my student's technical skills whilst also encouraging an appreciation for the process of creating art as it can serve as a mindfulness tool.

My lessons focus on building strong drawing and painting fundamentals, including proportions, shading and perspective. I break down the process of producing a piece step-by-step to develop the baseline skill before progressing to more advanced, enhancing techniques.
I tailor each session to the student’s goals, whether that is improving school art grades, preparing a GCSE portfolio, or learning drawing skills from scratch. Lessons are structured and hands-on, with a strong focus on practice, attention to detail and individual feedback.
I have 15 years of experience studying art and achieved an A* in IGCSE Art. I also continue to develop my own portfolio, which helps me teach practical and effective techniques.
During our first free session, I'm happy to share my art portfolio with my students for further confirmation of my skill level.
