About Marcela
I am a Biomedical Engineer with experience in accessibility, assistive technologies, and learning strategies for students with and without disabilities. I am a native Spanish speaker and have extensive experience working one on one with children, teenagers, and adults. I have experience providing support with study skills, strategies for better learning, and use of technology for educational purposes.

Before going deeper on a topic, I like to learn about the student and how they approach learning. What is their preference for studying (i.e.reading, watching, hands on) and what strategies they've found helpful (i.e. flashcards, quizzes, visuals). Once I have a better idea of what works best, I try to incorporate those strategies for the specific subject and find new ways to help the student learn.
