Super Tutor

Yasmine is one of our best Maths tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Yasmine

I am a Mathematics and Statistics graduate student at McGill University. I have a great passion for teaching and helping others understand my favorite subjects. I have been a TA for two consecutive years at McGill teaching Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Statistics. I have also been a tutor for over four years now, helping students from different levels starting from primary school to University, in different topics related to mathematics and statistics. I master three languages, English, French, and Arabic.

About the lesson

I always make sure my students understand the basic concepts of the topics they are studying and teach them how to think for themselves instead of just giving them the solution. I am very patient and always adapt my approach to the student's background and learning abilities. Most importantly, every time I give a lesson, I try to learn more with my students and have fun!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Yasmine.

Perfect! Yasmine has been an amazing tutor! Very understanding and extremely knowledgeable. Prior to doing lessons my first exam score was around a 66, my last exam was an 88.5.

Also I have ADHD, so sitting through tutoring can be challenging for me. Yasmine was extremely patient and considerate, so would highly recommend her if you also have LD or ADHD learning issues etc.

I will be booking more if I end up taking the next statistics course.

Took the majority of the pain out of the course, which was honestly amazing.

Perfect! Yasmine was one of the best tutors I've ever had! Her techniques were effective in helping me to grasp many topics in my math class. She was able to simplify difficult problems by applying them in real world scenarios, while also writing down the logic and procedures in our class notes, which were also super helpful and easy to figure out. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be as confident about my knowledge on the covered topics, and I don't think I'd be doing as well in my class. Highly recommended!

Gabe is a very interesting and curious student. He makes a lot of efforts on his own and comes up with questions to better understand and test his understanding of linear algebra abstract concepts. He is very polite and respectful and most importantly hard working. I always have fun helping him with his class. One of my favorite tutees ever !

Yasmine is a very positive person, always cheerful and ready to help everyone.

A professional Women, knows very well what she is doing, she has helped my daughter with her maths lesson, she can get excellent grades and I notice very noticeable improvement after I studied five or six lessons with Mrs. Yasmine.

Another point I want to say, my daughter took face to face lessons during the time of Covid, and she told me that Yasmine respects the health protocol and always uses the mask and hand sanitizer, this is a positive point, and makes you feel comfortable when dealing with this professor.

Thank you so much

Yasmine is intelligent, and very competent in her field. She is passionate about mathematics, and understands it very well.
On a personal level, she is one of the most compassionate and conscientious people that I know. She will take care of her students, and will make a lot of effort to explain mathematics to them. And she will do so with skill, given her expertise and sound understanding of the subject.

Yasmine is amazing! We were colleagues back in university. She is exceptionally gifted in maths. Time over time, I'd go for her to help me with difficult concepts. She's also an great teacher, able to teach what she knows in a clear organized enthusiastic way. She went on to complete a Masters degree from McGill, while also teaching some courses there, researching, and part timing as a data scientist. I would definitely recommend her!
