About Carlos
I’m a passionate STEM educator with nearly a decade of experience teaching and mentoring students in grades 5–12. My work blends technology, engineering, and youth development, and I’ve had the opportunity to lead national programs with partners like Apple and the National Park Service. What drives me is helping students see how math and science connect to the world around them—through creativity, design, and innovation. I believe learning should feel interactive, empowering, and relevant, not intimidating or boring. My goal is to create a space where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to think like a problem-solver.

Hey! I’m a STEM educator who’s spent nearly a decade helping students like you discover that math and science don’t have to be stressful—they can actually be fun when you learn the why behind the how. I work with students in grades 5–12, covering everything from algebra and geometry to robotics and engineering design.
My lessons are all about connection and creativity. We start by figuring out where you are with the topic, then I break things down step-by-step using real-life examples—like how angles show up in architecture or how coding logic relates to problem-solving in everyday life. You’ll get plenty of practice through mini challenges, projects, or interactive problems that make concepts click.
What makes me different is how I teach. I’ve led national STEM programs with Apple and the National Park Service, and I bring that same energy to every lesson—mixing tech, storytelling, and exploration to make learning feel natural and engaging.
