About Nick
I have a PhD in math, and I've been the classroom instructor for a number of college courses. My direct classroom experience is mostly in calculus, but my one-on-one tutoring experience is mostly in higher math courses like abstract algebra, topology, real analysis etc. I particularly enjoy working with students with a genuine interest in math.

Hi, I’m Nick. I tutor math with an emphasis on real understanding, not memorizing tricks. My lessons focus on problem solving. I’m especially strong at explaining “why” and helping students write clean solutions. My tutoring is particularly well suited to students taking higher math, or who have an eye to taking higher math.
