About Nahrin
I am a Psychology BS graduate of Macaulay Honors College at Brooklyn College. I excel in math and have tutored numerous students and helped them achieve high grades and scores throughout my academic journey. I have earned a grade of 4 on the AP Calculus test and continue to help students with a variety of math classes. My current job consists of working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities to obtain their GED and develop basic math skills. My math qualifications range from early elementary math to college-level calculus but my current focus is on basic math, algebra, and math found on the GED.

My teaching style prioritizes the student to be comfortable in order to have a productive learning experience. I break down concepts to their simplest form and work upwards from there with the student. With the experience I have and the diverse groups I have worked with, I am able to adapt my style to the student’s needs. No matter how many times you may get the wrong answer, it is my job to make you at ease so we can try again. I’m easy to contact and fast to reply.
