About Noor
Hello, I’m Noor Arfand. As a private tutor, I take great pride in not only helping students improve academically, but also nurturing strong character and discipline. Many parents come to me when their child is struggling often with failing grades and I work closely with each student to turn things around, usually to a B3 or better. More than just results, I focus on building a respectful, motivating environment where your child feels supported and heard. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s learning pace and personality. With consistency, encouragement, and a strong foundation in practice, your child will thrive both in school and in confidence.

I specialise in helping students who are struggling academically, especially those preparing for national exams. Many come to me with failing grades, and I work closely with them to consistently achieve B3 to A1 results. My approach goes beyond academics. I instil values like discipline, consistency, and responsibility throughout our sessions.
Each student is unique, and I tailor my teaching style to match their learning pace and personality. I never reprimand or scold, unless explicitly requested by parents. Instead, I believe in building a respectful, motivating environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of growth.
My mantra is simple: consistent practice, especially using Ten Year Series (TYS) papers, is your bread and butter. With the right guidance and mindset, any student can improve. One of my proudest achievements was helping a student go from F9 to A2 in Chemistry/Physics.
