My teaching approach for Mathematics is focused on differential equations and their applications in science and engineering. I cover first-order differential equations, including separable, homogeneous, linear, and exact equations, with methods of solution and applications in population growth and radioactive decay. I cover second-order linear differential equations with constant coefficients, including homogeneous and non-homogeneous equations, and methods like undetermined coefficients and variation of parameters. I also cover applications in mechanical vibrations, electrical circuits, and simple harmonic motion. I provide detailed derivations and step-by-step solutions for each type of problem. I use real-world examples to show how differential equations model physical systems. I assign homework that includes both theoretical and numerical problems. I conduct weekly tests and provide feedback. I maintain a progress log and offer extra help for difficult topics. My goal is to prepare you for advanced courses in engineering and physics.
