About Rachael
As my advert title states, I pride myself upon being a teacher with passion and a great love for teaching and learning! I am currently in my second year of teaching Year 6 at a lovely primary school in South West London and I would love to offer my help and support in maths and literacy to 10 year olds throughout the summer holidays too! I also hold a BA (Honours) degree in English and Communications from the University of Liverpool.

I find that the lessons which have the greatest impact on a child's memory, and therefore whole learning experience, are when there is clear and direct motivation in the topic of learning. I aim to centre my lessons around the interests of a pupil: if the stimulus is there, a child will embrace the challenges and skills that follow with open arms and an open mind.
