About Mirza
Hello — I’m a fully qualified mathematics teacher with 29 years’ experience teaching in state and private schools around the world. I’ve also worked as an examiner, moderator, marker and invigilator for UK GCSE/A-Level and IGCSE/IAL exams, so I know exactly what examiners look for and how to help you gain top marks.
1) Why I teach mathematics
I love mathematics because it’s logical, elegant and powerful — it trains you to think clearly and solve real problems. I enjoy helping students move from confusion to confidence, watching “I get it” moments happen. I want to make maths accessible and relevant, showing how concepts connect and how they apply outside the classroom. I’m motivated by helping students reach their potential, whether that means boosting grades, preparing for exams, or developing lifelong problem-solving skills.
