I think of myself as an 'international' people's person. I live here in London, but have previously lived in Honduras for 2 years, but also consider Ireland and India as '2nd' homes, as they are where my parents are from, and I have visited many times. Along with this, I have been very privileged to have been able to visit over 30+ countries in 5 continents, meeting new people with different cultures and learning about the world. I also think that this has helped me vastly with my communication skills, making me more friendly and approachable. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and have knowledge in French, Gujarati and Latin. Experiencing so many different cultures has allowed me to connect very easily with different people and fit in to new situations quickly. I am able to work well in teams, with others and communicate efficiently, which being on the Hertfordshire cricket club has greatly helped me with. Having completed a scuba diving course in Thailand, giving me a PADI Open Water License, and a week long intermediate sailing course in Ireland, I have learnt to deal with high pressure situations in a calm and organised fashion. I have also relished opportunities at my school to construct food stalls during fairs to raise money the 'New Hope' charity, of which I have been able to raise over £1000 for from these stalls, and other various charity events which I helped organise. These include multiple sporting events and Gaming tournaments, which I enjoyed devising and organising with my peers.
I am very hard working and focussed when it comes to studies, on track to achieve and possibly exceed my predicted grades (below). My teachers describe me as level headed, well behaved and committed to putting in the work needed. I enjoy challenges, and feel very energetic, always trying to jump on opportunities that come my way – such as in 2014 when I applied to get a job at a Lindt factory in Klichberg, Switzerland when passing through once. (which unfortunately didn't come to fruition due to an age requirement of 16).
