My teaching method is always to break down components of a topic in practical and easy ways to understand. I like to recognise what teaching methods and formats of communication the students learn best from and adapt the lessons around this. As much as possible it is important that the lessons are fun as I have found this makes the session more engaging and makes concepts more memorable to students. I identify what concepts students struggle with and spend more time on addressing these in different formats. I like to take topics slowly where needed and build on concepts learnt in previous lessons to ensure understanding is consolidated.

Oliver was a really great tutor who helped me get to grips with loads of my modules and topics of law. He explains things really well, and allows me to get really to grips with the basics and then go into much more depth to reach those higher marks. I can't recommend Oliver enough!
Oliver helped me understand a number of concepts throughout my degree by explaining them clearly and simplistically, often using diagrams and visual aids as this is how I best learn. He is very knowledgeable and has a real interest in the topics he teaches.
Oliver is a meticulous and knowledgable tutor for law. He has lots to offer students and can easily meet their academic needs helping them to understand with practical and real life examples
Oliver is a fantastic tutor. Our primary focus was on equity and trusts, which I had problems with understanding. He explained the law very clearly and made it easy to follow. It really felt like he was my friend that genuinely wanted to see me succeed. I graduated with a First Class degree!
