About Am

Hi! I’m a Health Sciences graduate who enjoys helping students feel more confident in subjects that can often feel overwhelming at first, especially chemistry, math, languages and exam prep.

I’ve been through the IB Diploma Programme (44/45, top 2.5% worldwide), performed in the 98th percentile on MCAT CARS (130), and maintained a 4.00 GPA in university-level Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences. I also hold a DELF B2 certification in French.

One thing I’ve learned from my time as a university peer tutor in Chemistry and Advanced Functions is that there’s never just one way to understand a concept. I like to explain things in a clear, simple way and adjust my approach based on how each student learns best.

My goal is to make difficult topics feel more manageable and less stressful - whether that’s IB exams, MCAT prep, chemistry, math or French. I also focus on helping students build good study habits so they can become more independent and confident over time.

Looking forward to working together and helping you reach your goals!

I've known Am for over three years, having attended McMaster University together and taken many undergraduate courses alongside each other.
He's incredibly knowledgeable across a wide variety of subjects, both inside and outside the classroom, and has a genuine passion for learning and helping others. As a tutor myself, I've personally referred several of my students to Am, and they've consistently had great experiences, particularly highlighting how comfortable and supported they felt from their very first session.
Having taken courses together, I've seen firsthand his ability to break down challenging concepts and explain them in a way that's clear and easy to understand. He's patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping his students succeed.
I'd highly recommend Am to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and supportive tutor!
