About Matthew
I graduated from Seattle University with my degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. I am currently a graduate student in Biomechanics to help develop rehabilitation robots for people with neurodegenerative diseases. Throughout all these accolades, I was taught how to think logically and do so in a way that puts people first. As a tutor I want to ensure that you learn, not just the technical skills, but the way in which you can apply those to the areas and things that you are passionate about. I have spent the past year and a half working as a tutor and teaching assistant to help cultivate student success.

I love working with concepts that we get to see in our everyday lives and prioritize an understanding of why we do what we do not just how to do it. I have many passions that exist outside of the classroom and understand that my students do too. Bringing those experiences in to learning is one of the ways that I have found to foster greater understanding of the lessons that we learn in the classroom and make us more excited to take those lessons out into the real world. My lessons are mainly for high school and college aged students.
