About Philip
I am currently studying Medicine at University College London (UCL) and am an extremely enthusiastic academic tutor. I remember the struggles of having to study for GCSEs and A-levels; my aim is to work together with my students to make this an enjoyable process, rather than just a requirement of secondary education.
I have experience teaching both online and in-person (based in the London area).

We’ll work together to create a personalised plan based around your specific needs. I can create lesson plans based around any GCSE or A-level exam board specification, and have been able to reliably increase my students’ grades in the past.
Having achieved A* at both GCSE and A-level, I’m very confident in the subject and have been developing my passion for chemistry at university through the study of pharmacology, biochemistry and organic chemistry.
Lessons typically last either one or two hours, depending on the needs and requests of the student. I teach using a blend of presentation/tutorial style as well as integrated knowledge quizzes to check understanding.
