About Gianni
Hi, I’m Gianni, a 4th year medical student at Cardiff University with a First-Class degree in Biomedical Sciences. I’m passionate about helping students who are applying to Medicine and understand how stressful the interview process can be.
I’ve been through the medical school application process myself and have experience in clinical environments, academic research and teaching. I’ve also taught students at GCSE and A-level, so I’m used to adapting my teaching style to different students.
I’m friendly, approachable and believe the best way to prepare for an MMI is through realistic practice, honest feedback and building confidence. My goal is to make sure you go into your interview feeling prepared and comfortable with whatever comes your way.

I like to keep MMI preparation practical, relaxed and tailored to each student. Rather than memorising perfect answers, I want you to feel confident handling questions you've never seen before.
Sessions will usually involve realistic MMI stations, timed answers and plenty of feedback. We'll look at how you structure your answers, communicate your ideas and come across to the interviewer, then have another go and improve. These sessions can be as formal or informal as you like!
I can cover ethics, role-play, communication, motivation for medicine, NHS topics and problem-solving, as well as any specific areas you feel less confident with.
As a medical student with a First-Class Biomedical Sciences degree, I've been through the medical school application process myself and understand how daunting MMIs can feel. My aim is to make the process much less intimidating while giving you the tools to perform at your best.
Lessons are aimed at students applying to Medicine or Dentistry, whether you're completely new to MMIs or just looking for some extra practice before interview day.
