About Athena
Hi! My name's Athena and I am a first year medical student at a top 3 school! I got a grade A myself in A-level biology, and a 9 at GCSE with the highest mark in my school. I know first hand how difficult biology can be, and tested a lot of different revision techniques in order to obtain my grade, meaning I can offer hyper personalised and comfortable tuition experiences, as I have recently undergone the same struggle of biology myself. My past students have gotten top grades from a range of long term and short term tutoring programmes. I struggled greatly at A-level, and want to pass on tips and tricks that I have learnt in order to help others through exams. There is no reason students can't reach the top grades, and I am an advocate for improving students' confidence as well as their skills. I have a passion for teaching and helping others and want to share this with others.

As a medical student who achieved an A in A-level Biology, I have recent experience of the A-level curriculum and understand how challenging Biology can be. I can help with understanding difficult topics, exam technique, revision strategies and working through past-paper questions, with a focus on making concepts clear and easy to remember.
