About Yumna
I am a current medical student and a part time tutor who enjoys spreading my passion for learning through my lessons. Through years of tutoring i have seen a range of learning styles and taught a variety of subjects that makes me equipped to help students of many ages.
as someone who learns best when the lesson is enjoyable i like to make sure that when i teach the student is understanding the lesson and having fun whilst learning. I want to give students the confidence and the extra push they need to help them fulfil their goals , reach their potential and most importantly instil a passion for learning

as a part time tutor for the past 3 years i have gained solid teaching a variety of subjects to many different age groups including ks2, Ks3 GCSE and Alevel.
my lesson length varies according to the students preferences i'm happy to do regular one hour lessons or longer sessions for if the student feels like they need that little bit of extra support to help achieve their goal.
Many of my students have seen improvement over time as i like to focus mostly on understanding the lesson and creating a passion of learning. i find that focusing on understanding and creating ways to make the lesson memorable is much more effective than simple memorisation
My teaching style changes depending on the learning requirements of the student and i work with the student to help them achieve their goals one lesson at a time. i am open to teaching students of all ages from KS2 to Alevelas
