I have a firm belief in the power of education, which is why I tutor boys of differing age groups about Science. At one point I was a failing student, but one teacher turned me around forever. To the point that now I will be studying to become a doctor and I have 12 GCSE’s including Maths, English and the three Sciences, all of which I attained an A* grade. I am also doing the International Baccalaureate this May 2017, and as a result I am able to tutor 6 subjects to a sixth form level. My experience in education has taught me that hard work and the right teacher can help anyone improve. In summary my drive as a tutor comes from my ambition and my passion for education.
My lessons are structured by taking the individual ability and learning style of each student into question through the use of worksheets, power points and 1 to 1 tutoring.
I have been tutoring boys during their exam period for almost a year. I managed to get one boy who was threatened by his school to be kicked out for his grades at GCSE to the point now where he has an unconditional to study at university. I have taught several students from the age of 10 to 16 and this experience has showed me how different people learn differently/
