About Jackson
Hi! I am a 21-year-old medical student. I was born in Hong Kong and speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. With an IELTS score of 8.5 and 9s (A*) in English Literature and English Language GCSEs, I understand both the challenges and strategies for mastering English. I moved to Singapore at age 6 for primary school, then studied at the #1 school in the UK for A-level results, so I understand the challenges of learning English as a second language. I’m passionate about helping younger students build strong foundations in English - whether it’s for school, exams, or everyday conversation.

I provide personalised English tutoring for Chinese-speaking students. My lessons are designed to improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, while also helping students gain confidence in using English in real-life and academic settings. I speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin, which helps younger or beginner students feel more comfortable. Whether your child is preparing for exams (IELTS, school tests) or just needs help with speaking fluently, I tailor each session to their needs.
