About Hanzalah
I am a current medical student who has been through the tutoring system to pass the 11+ examinations in Birmingham. I attained 10 A*s for my GCSE/IGCSE examinations, and then went on to secure 39 points in my International Baccalaureate Diploma, which is the equivalent of 3 A*s and 3 As at A-Levels. During my time at sixth-form, I mentored young students at school through their GCSEs to great effect. I have been the beneficiary of an excellent educational route to medical school, and I hope to establish an excellent rapport with young students and assist them in attaining the right grades for their future.

I am able to deliver one-to-one tutoring on an hourly basis to GCSE/IGCSE students in year 10 and year 11 for English, Biology, and History. I also can provide IB or A-Level tutoring to college/sixth form students for History and Biology. I can also assist hopeful medical school applicants in their UKCAT preparation along with their interview preparation. I utilise my own notes as well as tried-and-tested revision booklets and material to help students understand the academic material, master revision techniques, and learn examination techniques that I found so helpful. I am open to working at whatever pace my students feel comfortable with, and will allow them to determine the contents of the lessons by raising academic areas of concern which we can work through. I want to help students to really understand the curriculum they study, as it will ultimately help them in passing their examinations. I believe in a friendly and patient demeanor so as to encourage students and create a positive working environment.
