It's mainly understanding the difficulties faced by the student in their subject and focus on the academic requirement. As each student has a different approach towards a subject, a tutor mainly needs to understand that approach and help the student out. Tutoring by a systematic lesson wise method and more focus on the difficult part is my main main.
Revolutionary, innovative, fun, highly effective & affordable. I believe every student deserves every opportunity to learn, progress & achieve their full potential without any restrictions/limits. - Which subject(s) do you teach? As already stated. - Tell me about your qualifications. I am a pharmacy graduate.
A strict teaching methodology is not always good to use for everyone because different students learn in different ways. After a basic lesson with the student to understand what level they are at, I can compose together a teaching method for the effective learning of each student.
My preferred way to teach is to break the topics down to their basics and build the knowledge up from there. Quite often you find that a student's lack of understanding comes from a missing fundamental piece, not just a few bits here and there that need sorting.
I believe that everyone learns differently so I am always open to teaching in different styles to help pupils learn effectively. I specialise in teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level. I also deliver BTEC Level 3 Science. I often deliver content and then assess learning through exam practice or by pupils teaching back learnt content to me.
I believe that if you enjoy your lessons, you'll learn more! I aim to make my teaching accessible and fun. We all have different learning styles, so I will adapt my teaching to what works best for the individual student.
I like to focus on where the child is having problems and help explain the learning objectives and principles. I am patient and methodical helping them understand the subject and enhance their knowledge, giving them the skills and confidence to tackle similar questions in the future.
My teaching method is simple and routine. If the student has a particular topic they are struggling with I will assess this and get to the root cause. If there is no particular topic which is causing problems I will start from the beginning taking each topic one at a time.
I like to ask questions, give examples and push students in their sessions so they make the most of their teaching. Prior to exams I like for students to build up confidence in content they are learning and then after I ask them to answer questions based on relevant things they have learnt.
I can teach in a number of methods and all depends on the learning style of the student. This can be via presentations, books, images, spider diagrams or a combination of methods. In order to be obtain a positive outcome both the tutor and the student need to put an effort.

I am a very passionate student who loves to learn and finds memorable ways to help others learn too. I am giving lessons to anyone from A levels and below. My technique to help you learn is to make sure you're enjoying the process, making the lessons very interactive, get you asking lots of questions and work through tasks together.
My methodology would vary depending on the aims of the student , we'd spend some time helping to reflect on strong and weak areas of knowledge before discussing what type of learning suits you since we are all individuals. Based on this we could go on to do past papers and writing our own revision questions.
Tailor lessons as per your needs. Explaining processes and concepts in a concise and clear way, with the incorporation of diagrams and questions to test progress. Assessment planning, prepare sessions, resources, collect, marking, judge/record evidence against standards, feedback, organise folder, E Track Student: progress tracker, meet deadlines, set targets, time management and relationships.
Very approachable tutor who has experience in tutoring over the past 5 years. Often teaching small groups or 1 to 1. My approach to tutoring is applying a students knowledge so rather than memorising the information they understand it and therefore are less likely to be thrown by exam questions.
Hi, I'm a university student studying radiography and currently just passed into my second year. Being in education myself means the I'm aware of the range of studying techniques adopted by pupils and am more than happy to suit their personal needs. I believe that starting from a solid foundation of basic knowledge and then building upwards will prove effective when trying to learn anything.
I teach secondary students in preparation for their GCSEs, using the specification of their specific exam board, as I know through personal experience this is the most helpful way to achieve the highest grades for their exams. I prefer to use an exam board- endorsed text book, ask the student to read it aloud, then explain to them what it means, then quiz the student at the end of each sub-topic.
I base my classes on the student's needs. I assess the student and work around the area they lack in or are not comfortable in, before going through more complex areas. I would like to give lessons to children up to the age of 14. I am also able to teach students doing GCSE's, however, that will be subject specific.
I provide biology and chemistry tuition up to an A-level standard. During my intital lessons I try to utilise a variety of learning methods, focusing with time on those that are best suited to each student. As a tutor,I strongly believe that understanding the topic yields far greater results that just mindless memorisation.
I am a 17 year old student, living in Edgbaston. I currently study at King Edward's school, Birmingham. I predominantly offer lessons to GCSE students however am also able to tutor 11+ candidates. Lessons would last either 1 or 2 hours dependant on preferences and would be held in the comfort of your own home.
I am a 17 year old college student looking to help people Birmingham area b32 with there GCSEs in psychology PE or science and also primary school SATS my methods I will use will be dependant on the student so what ever method is best suited to them.
My teaching method is to break concepts down into easily relatable scenarios- I then translate that understanding back to the original concept.
I approach learning in a very pro-active way. Learning by doing means that the student can memorise what they learn and also gives them a chance to make mistakes, rectify them and hence learn from them, ensuring the same mistakes are not made in a more important environment, i.e. during exams.
I base my teaching on tackling the common misconceptions or the areas students trip up on the most and go from there.
I begin by asking my student their areas of weakness and strength, I then devise a plan to cover all the topics noted. Each session consists of a mini test based on the topic covered in the previous lesson, then I teach the topic (welcoming any queries and insisting on note-taking) and finally I review the lesson by quizzing the student verbally.
Educated to PhD level with knowledge, research and work experience in biology and genetics. Have some experience teaching to undergraduates. Have also supervised postgraduate students. Although not familiar with curriculum, would be able to teach lower levels. Generally available outside regular working hours.
My teaching method is trial and error I believe children learn things they are more involved in. Once they commit a mistake they will later remember it if they are repeatedly taught it.
My teaching methodology is tailored study material alongside expert exam technique and feedback for students to reach their optimum grade
