About Laura
I am currently studying medicine at Queen's University Belfast.
I have a passion for teaching and passing my knowledge on to others. I like to make the subjects of biology and mathematics as fun and enjoyable as possible. It is very satisfying when a student understands a concept we are discussing and focusing on.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing and watching rugby and also listening to music.

Hello Students,
My name is Laura and I teach all levels for Biology and up to GCSE for Maths. I am a 4th year medical student studying in the UK.
A typical lesson with me will last 1 hour and will involve the following:
- Short answer questions from the previous lesson or to begin a new topic to assess your understanding and what we need to focus on.
- An explanation of a concept or topic that we have chosen to focus on.
- Past paper question practice (I use these to show what mark schemes are looking for in an answer.)
- I will finish with a recap of that lesson and ask the student how they feel about that topic now.
I have over 600 hours of tutoring experience with MyTutor and have engaged with many students in the past.
