About Mahika
Hi! My name is Mahika and I am a university student currently studying a medicine course. I have been passionate about becoming a doctor since being in primary school, and it is one of the many reasons that my love for science subjects has grown so big over the years. Having a younger sibling has meant that tutoring was a large part of my life and it was an activity I sincerely enjoyed partaking in, growing up. As a tutor, I look forward to ensuring that my students understand the concepts behind topics and gain a better understanding of the subject overall.

My lessons would be centred around the student - this involves working through any topics that are areas of concern through interactive teaching methods. The typical length of a lesson would be around an hour, although this can be changed to accommodate for any student’s needs. For students looking to prepare for exams, I can also aid in preparing for this and perfecting exam technique. As a tutor, I have had experience teaching Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I am willing to teach GCSE, A-Level, and KS3 content for these three subjects.

Mahika is a fantastic tutor. She helped my son through his GCSE journey and was amazing at explaining things to him. Very accommodating as well, she would change her lesson plans if my son wanted to focus on a particular topic for his assessments, and helped him consolidate the content he learnt at school.
She has very good understanding of subject matter and also has several ways of explaining the topic to a student which makes it easier for them to imbibe the teachings. I strongly recommend her.
