About Finn
I'm Finn, a 5th-year clinical medical student at the University of Oxford with a BA (Oxon) in Medical sciences. With over 4 years of experience as a tutor and delivering 500+ hours of online tutoring, I know what students struggle with most and how to help them improve.
Outside of being a medical student, I take an active and engaged role in improving access to higher education. I have worked with STEP inTO OxMed, the official Oxford medical school outreach initiative, to deliver mock interviews and clinical skills workshops to high-achieving students. Having twice toured the UK representing Oxford University on Access & Outreach initiatives, I offered tailored support to Year 10 to Year 13 students with their university applications. Outside of academia, I am a member of the Oxford RAF air squadron and have an interest in student productions!

I take an empirical and exam-focused approach to my teaching. We work together to identify knowledge gaps and ensure you develop both a solid understanding of the topic itself and, importantly, how it comes up in exams. This involves covering relevant theory and putting it into practice with past paper and exam-style questions with worked through solutions.
I maintain a friendly and supportive atmosphere during and outside my lessons. Students should always feel comfortable to ask any questions, voice concerns and feel empowered to direct their own learning.
