Hiya! My teaching method is to try to make things as simple and clear as possible. I do lots of example questions and make it into a competitive game, which encourages students to want to answer the questions and understand them fully. I haven't always found specific subjects naturally easy to understand, so I like to explain things from multiple perspectives until I find the right one that fits a specific student's style of learning.
I am currently studying Orthoptics (Eye specialist) at the University of Sheffield. I am in my second year. I have tutored students up to GCSE level in Mathematics, English and Biology before and thoroughly enjoyed it. My past students (3 previous students) received either their target grade (1) or above their predicted grades (2) and were happy with their results!
Depending on how far away the student may be (if I am commuting to them), I may ask for some of my travel to be payed for if it's expensive. However, I ride my bike most places, so it is unlikely I would require any compensation for travel.
