About Jacinta
As mentioned, I am a medical student; however, I am more than that. My students describe me as a friend, supportive, motivational, funny, patient, and simply put, brilliant. Despite not being native, I learnt French from scratch and scored in the top 3% of the country - that’s a little indication of my determination. For my students, no mountain is too tall for me to climb, and I mean that. I truly believe each and every one of my students can achieve the goals we’ve set, and they’ve never once been disappointed with the effort I invest in them. Our lessons are safe places to make mistakes, learn, and celebrate the progress we make together. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

My lessons take a spiral approach. This means knowledge is built upon logically and constructively - a method scientifically proven to yield the best results. As such, most lessons will take a structure like the following: a starter (testing knowledge from last lesson), the current lesson's topic, and then a challenge to push our understanding. This may/may not be consolidated with homework; however, I only give homework when necessary for the student's benefit - not for the sake of it. My lessons are always planned in advance with interactive activities, tailored questions, and approaches to best help my students grasp the topic at hand.
