About Chloe
I lived in France from march 2023-august 2025 to work and study.
I've tutored 10 students so far (various ages and levels, and both in person and online), and absolutely love helping people learn. I started learning French in 2011 and am now fluent. I completed VCE French in 2016 and was the year 12 dux for the subject with an ATAR score of 47. In 2014 I also went to France to study the language with a native in an immersion program, and in 2017 I completed one semester of C2 French (the highest level offered) at Monash University.

I'm passionate about learning French and teaching it in a fun and practical way. I prepare the lesson plan according to the student's ability/level and interests to make sure they get the most out of it whilst remaining engaged (especially for younger students). My lessons include but aren't limited to conversation and correct pronunciation practice, exercises for grammatical rules and exceptions, conjugating verbs and learning vocabulary (reading aloud using picture books, easy literature, short videos). I make sure to teach what is necessary for school but also useful things to know such as current slang and expressions.

Perfect! I have had my first lesson with Chloe and found her absolutely delightful. Very calm and helpful, and willing to take time and repeat phrasing to help with sound assimilation. I enjoyed my first lesson very much and look forward to my next one. Thank you Chloe.

Hello! I’ve met the Chloe’s profile some time ago. I like the way Chloe is teaching. She is very nice! She is not rushing or pushing you. I started learning French as a hobby and right now I’m thinking about going to Paris for 1-2 semesters since I see very good progress. I’ve tried different teachers, but she is the one!
She is very kind and patient teacher, and her knowledge of the rules and grammar is impressive. She helped me a lot by making the space a safe and comfortable one. Lessons were fun and always different.
Would recommend!Impassioned by the French language, Chloe has a superb French accent and a natural fluency. Having studied in France, she maintains a conversational and texting friendship with a native French person who helps her keep her vocabulary current. Chloe’s comprehension is impressive, as is her conversational skill. I recommend her as a French tutor for beginners all the way to the more advanced levels.
