About Fred
I’m an internationally certified tutor, I teach fast mental arithmetic of Japanese soroban and Chinese abacus method. I have had the pleasure of working with students from all over the world including those from Australia, Canada, UAE and Singapore, from ages 5 to above 20, as it’s not about age, it’s a skill. My classes are cheerful and engaging. With me as your tutor, your kids will become confident in school and life generally, or you as an adult will become confident at work, college and life as well. Mental arithmetic will stimulate the brain and boost problem-solving skills, it’s proven. I have a variety of teaching skills, catering to students of different backgrounds, so whether you’re a kid or an adult, you can be able to learn mental arithmetic well. I’m highly experienced, and have students who’ve won world championships.

My online lessons are conducted through google teams and I will teach my students mental arithmetic with the best methods with a set of principles. I create personalized study plans to cater to students for their specific needs. When students have reached the start of a high level, I’ll train them to mentally calculate large complicated numbers including fractions, decimals, algebras, etc.
