About Dr Uzoma
I am a Medical doctor with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and over 13 years' experience in working in the medical field and the business sector. I have worked in Psychiatry with the NHS in England, Scotland and Wales. I am currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Mindhelpa, a Techstars portfolio company backed by JP Morgan. Mindhelpa helps improve access to mental healthcare by providing affordable online group therapy to vulnerable populations. As an immigrant entrepreneur that has bootstrapped a startup (CareerEdu) to $1 million in ARR within a year, I understand the toll building things from the ground up takes on the psyche of people. Having participated in the world's most active pre-seed accelerator in Silicon Valley - Techstars (Spring 2024) - I have decided to give back to entrepreneurs from everything I have picked up along the way - in mental health, business and life.

I accept students from all spheres of life and take a result-oriented approach to teaching. First, we will find the root of the problem (akin to making a diagnosis), then practise strategies tailored to the particular individual to help solve the problem.
