About George
Years spent performing on stage defined my practical approach to teaching. I hold an MMus Music Performance degree from Queensland Conservatorium.
Fingerpicking, power chords, and reading tabs occupy much of my day. I also focus on barre chords and blues progressions.
Ear training remains a constant priority for my players. Strumming patterns and instrument maintenance round out my process. The music simply flows.

The smell of fresh strings usually signals the start of our focused work. I break down music theory by drawing on my conservatory background to clarify why chords move the way they do. Sometimes we just sit and listen to the resonance of the wood. A practice module comes with every lesson to keep momentum.
