About Aeriel
I have 10 years of working in education including 3 years of working in high-level private education. I have taught both the AP Micro and Macroeconomics curriculum with 93% of my last class achieving a score of 4 or higher. I also have experience teaching these courses to students whose first language is not English. I hold a Bachelors of Social Science in International Development (focus on international Economics) and Business Administration.

I am happy to teach students their entire AP or college-level curriculum, or provide as-needed lessons to review specific concepts or prepare for tests. 93% of students in my 2019 AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics class achieved an exam score of 4 or higher.
I work to make economics learning as engaging and effective as possible and often as possible design lessons around my student's interests to reinforce learning, keep students engaged, and help them recall course material.
A typical lesson begins with a review of the previous lesson's content, a presentation of new material, an application stage where understanding is demonstrated through use of the new concept(s), and finally a review of the lesson that touches on any material students may have been challenged by. I seek to use a variety of teaching styles and ask concept checking questions to ensure comprehension and appropriate speed of teaching.
