About Torwyn
I firmly believe that every student can learn. Not only that, but I firmly believe we are all talented at some part of the learning process.
The first thing I want us to do together is to come up with what aspect of learning YOU are a star at.
Every day is a new day and we are all learning something every moment. I love empowering people to find confidence in their ability to learn.
I also continually work on my own relationship with learning! I am always in the process of learning a new language (right now it’s Korean) and I challenge myself to read a book a day each year. I know how absolutely frustrating that moment of “I still don’t get it” feels as well as the joy of realizing you know exactly how this new concept fits into the overall picture. I am ready to go on this journey WITH you, not at you

I love tailoring my plans to the specific goals of my students. In our first session, I want to get to know you! Things like your reasons for wanting to work with me, your goals and what gets you really excited are things I use to make our time together as productive as possible.
I love tackling an idea from all possible sides until the student feels comfortable and confident.
