About Millie
Hi, I’m Millie and I recently completed my studies of French and Geography obtaining a First Class Honours grade (73%) in my undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin. I am originally from County Galway, however my father is French, meaning that I have family living in France; they don't speak any English, which really helped with my spoken French since I was a child! In 2018, I also spent a term of secondary school in France, which enabled me become fully fluent. Last semester I was on Erasmus exchange studying in Bordeaux which really enabled me to immerse myself into the language and the culture. I stayed in france upon completion of my semester in Bordeaux where I was living and working in the region which once again hugely aided my French!

Conversational lessons available either in person in the Dublin area or online from home. Being able to speak and understand the language is the best starting point for any school student looking to receive high grades in their exams. I offer hour-long intensive conversational lessons in the hope of improving the student's spoken and aural skills, which in turn will help with the written language. Having received a H1 in my French Leaving Certificate in 2021, I am aware of the syllabus and can therefore work through it with students and tell them what worked best for me in achieving a high grade, especially with Leaving Cert orals approaching!

Millie was so helpful before my French oral, she gave me all her tips and tricks that she used in the leaving cert and helped me greatly on the places I struggled with. We did many practice orals and she gave me great confidence in my French.
