About Abbie
About Me – Abbie Williams Experienced Early Years & KS1 Educator | Passionate about Playful, Purposeful Learning Hi, I’m Abbie – a fully qualified teacher with over 9 years of classroom experience, specialising in Early Years and Key Stage 1 education. I hold a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status, and I’ve spent most of my career supporting children aged 3–7 to build strong foundations in reading, writing, and maths through creative, engaging, and child-led approaches. I’ve taught in both nursery and Reception settings, as well as Year 1 and 2, and I’m highly experienced in Read Write Inc. phonics, early literacy, and mathematical development. I’ve supported children with a wide range of needs and learning styles, always tailoring my approach to make learning accessible, exciting, and confidence-boosting. My sessions are warm, playful, and grounded in proven techniques that promote both academic progress and a love of learning. I use drama, music, games, storytelling, and sensory activities to bring lessons to life and help children retain and apply what they’ve learned. I also value strong communication with parents and carers to ensure we’re working together to support your child’s journey. Whether your child needs a gentle boost, a fun challenge, or a helping hand to catch up, I’m here to support them every step of the way.

I’m Abbie Williams, a fully qualified teacher with over 9 years of experience specialising in Early Years and Key Stage 1 education. At Mini Minds Learning Club, I offer 1:1 personalised tutoring sessions packed with creative, hands-on activities to spark curiosity and make learning fun! I use a wide range of techniques including games, drama, storytelling, sensory play, and visual aids to suit your child’s individual learning style. What I offer: Phonics and early reading (including Read Write Inc.) CVC word blending and spelling Early writing and sentence skills Maths foundations through play Support for children needing a little extra help A nurturing, encouraging approach that builds confidence Sessions are available after school and weekends, in a calm, child-friendly space.
