About Sophia
"Instruction flows at a pace dictated by your vocal stamina and immediate needs. Feedback happens in real time to ensure habits remain healthy. My sessions integrate standard classical technique with the stylistic demands of contemporary pop and musical theatre. We address pitch control and vibrato through exercises derived from my conservatoire training.
You will receive a personalised song list built around your specific range to ensure safe progression. We cover head and chest voice, belting, and microphone technique in equal measure. Articulation and diction serve as the foundation for every repertoire piece. I monitor vocal health carefully to prevent strain during range extension.
My goal is to simplify the complex mechanics of singing. Performing music should remain a rewarding experience for us both."

"Performing for 13 years alongside the Royal Philharmonic requires a disciplined commitment to technical precision. Most vocalists find that the hardest note to hit is the one they assume is out of reach.
My practice evolved from that orchestral background into a focused pedagogy for teens and adults. I hold an MMus in Vocal Performance from the joint programme at King's College London and RAM. Teaching is a logical extension of my stage career.
I work frequently with grade exam candidates seeking technical rigour. You will find my approach is direct and remarkably calm."
