I have taught many people guitar over the years. I have played in a band; making money while having fun. I also tutor many high school subjects as well. I have played guitar for over 50 years. I am also certified as a tutor by the National Tutoring Association.

Lessons start as basic as you like, finding your own style and preferences. Patience and practice are key. A fundamental truth when learning to play an instrument is that, initially, you probably won't sound like you want to sound. Getting past that point by perseverance and practice, eventually you will sound better than you expected. At that point practice is a joy. Getting to that point requires a desire to be a guitar player; keep that desire strong.
