About Henry
With 6 years of experience teaching Spanish, I have helped around 150 High School and College students improve their language abilities through personalised instruction and consistent support. My teaching philosophy is based on creating lessons that are simple, practical, and engaging so every student feels confident while learning.
I focus on developing all language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, and conversation. I use interactive exercises, discussions, games, and real-life examples to make every lesson interesting. I encourage students to participate actively because regular practice is the key to mastering any language.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have seen many students improve their academic performance and become more comfortable communicating in Spanish. Their success has been one of my most meaningful achievements. I believe that every student learns differently, so I patiently adapt my methods to suit individual needs.
My goal is to create a supportive classroom where students feel motivated to learn, ask questions, and challenge themselves. I am committed to helping students build strong language skills that will support them in school, higher education, travel, and future professional opportunities.

My Spanish teaching philosophy emphasises creating lessons that are meaningful, practical, and student-centred. Accountability encourages learners to set clear goals, monitor their progress, and take ownership of their learning. Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities and challenges.
I practice Flexibility, modifying lesson content, exercises, and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, levels, and interests. Communication is at the core; I foster conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence. A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and nurtures curiosity.
I also integrate complementary subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to enrich understanding and provide practical application. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and motivated Spanish speakers.
