About Karl
I have a strong academic background with a 2:1 from the University of Bath and an MSc in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of York (1st degree expected). Outside academia I have worked in both molecular biology labs and agricultural biotechnology research, and have more recently worked in a technical sales role.

Hi, my name is Karl Herman, and I teach up to degree level in biology related disciplines. I aim for a relaxed and flexible style of tutoring, focusing on the particular needs of the student in question. I have a strong grounding in the field, including multiple degrees from top universities and years of industrial experience. This combined with a real passion for the subject allows me to propel my students to the next level in their studies.
