About Dhanya
With 4 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students discover the exciting world of Chemistry. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching around 250 students, guiding them through the complexities of Chemistry at both high school and college levels. My journey as a tutor has been incredibly rewarding, as I’ve witnessed countless students develop not just academic skills but also a true appreciation for the subject. I strive to make every lesson engaging and clear, using real-life examples and hands-on activities to connect theory with practical applications. I focus on building a strong foundation in Chemistry while making sure students feel supported and confident in their learning journey. Throughout my career, I’ve helped students achieve significant academic milestones—whether it's acing exams, improving grades, or gaining the confidence to tackle difficult topics. My teaching methodology for Chemistry is centred around flexibility, collaboration, and real-life examples, creating a learning environment that adapts to each student's needs. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit their individual pace and style, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning experience. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect theory with practice, making abstract concepts like chemical reactions, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry more tangible and relevant to their everyday lives. This practical approach helps students understand the real-world applications of what they are learning, making Chemistry more interesting and easier to grasp. Collaboration is key in my teaching. I encourage students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and work together on challenging problems. I also emphasise the importance of integrity, ensuring a transparent and honest learning process. Creativity plays a big role too—whether through visual aids, experiments, or interactive activities, I make sure lessons are engaging and fun. In addition to Chemistry, I can also teach related subjects such as Physics and Mathematics, offering a well-rounded approach to scientific learning. My goal is to help students gain confidence and mastery in the subject while fostering a genuine love for learning.
