About Tuna
I am a graduate with a master's degree in Mathematics and Data Science and more than 10 years' experience teaching maths and programming for all levels.
I've previously taught both in individual and group settings as well as classes & tutored at university.
Originally from Germany, I've lived in London for four years now. I am (through my own experience and tutoring) familiar with both the English and German school systems and quick to pick up on what each individual student needs.

Dear future pupils (and parents)!
My name is Tuna and I offer lessons in maths and programming for all levels:
- from primary school (numbers, fractions, foundations of maths)
- all the way through GCSEs and A-levels (algebra, geometry, calculus)
- to university level (advanced algorithms, university level statistics, proofs and much more).
I teach theoretical and applied mathematics as well as computer science and programming in both English and German
I've previously taught both in individual and group settings as well as classes & tutored at university.
My main goal when tutoring is to identify the student's individual needs and address them effectively. Whether that is alleviating fears of the subject, closing gaps in the foundations, additional practice in support of lessons, preparations for a test or an exam or challenging strong students with more advanced topics and exercises.
I offer tutoring in both English and German. I'm happy to come to a student's house, have students come to my place, meet in a public space (e.g. a library) or do lessons online. My lessons are usually 60 minutes long, though I can offer shorter (45 min) or longer (90 min) lessons as well.
The most important thing is that the lessons fit the life and learning journey of my students.
