About Sam
Hi! I’m Sam — a UK-based professional musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Alongside teaching, I work actively in the music industry: I’ve composed original music for films and circus artists, worked as a bandleader in large-scale circus productions, and toured with rock and ska bands performing to crowds of 1,000+. I’ve also performed in jazz groups, orchestral settings, and live theatre-style shows all around Europe, which gives me a broad, real-world perspective on music.
I love teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping people grow in confidence and ability, and I get huge satisfaction from passing on knowledge and watching students develop their own personal sound, creativity and musical identity — whatever their age or starting point.

With over five years of teaching experience and an active career as a professional musician, I help students build confidence, technique and creativity. I teach all ages and abilities, offering patient guidance in piano/keys, guitar, bass, trombone, composition, music theory and music production, with support for graded exams and GCSE/A-Level Music.
