About Josh
When I was in High School, I took a TV production class in my freshman year. I loved it so much that I returned every other year as the teacher's assistant. I grew so much by helping my peers to learn the basics of media, and I developed a passion for teaching media.
I'm also a musician, which means that audio production was a main focus of mine early on. My first job out of college was with an audio production focused creative agency, where I got a ton of experience with sound designs and a deep understanding of audio mixing and production. Since then, I've always ended up as the defacto audio production tutor at every job I've worked.
Now, I'm ready to take all of my acquired skills, from all corners of the media production industry, and let them inform young & training students who want to get to the next level.

Whether you're a total beginner, or someone who wants to refine and enhance your skills... I have tips and tricks to make your work more efficient, and bring your creative ideas into existence with that extra degree of style and flare that will set you apart.
The method that we will use to do that will be determined by how you like to learn. Visual learner? I'll walk you through some projects. Learn by doing? I'll let you take control of your project, and I can serve as a guide in the background to help you make it better.
I have worked in traditional media production agencies, for independent online social media creators, and for legacy print, TV & radio stations. I have one foot in both new-age media production, as well as old school.
My goal in working with you will be to learn about how much you know, how you learned it, and how I can help you improve based on what kinds of media you want to create, and the platforms that it will be published to.
