About Amy Tallulah
I started learning piano at age 13 and by the time I was 16 I had achieved my ABRSM Grade 7. At 18 I started studying Music at Goldsmiths University of London and completed my degree this year. I studied a range of different modules from Classical, Contemporary and Experimental music to Underground and Fringe music. I was trained in classical performance by the incredible Maria Krivenski, and I studied composition with the amazing Anneke Kampman and Ian Gardiner. I have always loved different types of music and like to use my classical training to make more experimental electronic and audiovisual compositions. I think it's important to have the freedom and the confidence as a musician to explore every genre!

My teaching method is student-led as I strongly believe passion for music is built through having the facilities to explore any avenue that you connect with. I can teach ABRSM Grades or we can just have a jam on the piano! It's completely up to what you want from a session.

Amy is the daughter of a friend. I watched her perform a few times and I was so impressed by her musicianship and emotive style I wanted to learn piano. She was a patient, calm and intelligent teacher, which was particularly appreciated by myself as an older learner! She always though laterally to help me solve learning issues and her lovely, warm personality is a real pleasure.
